MULTI-PARTY  COMPUTATION

Qredo secures assets with MPC, replacing private keys with cryptographic secrets that are distributed between independent nodes. These MPC nodes — which are distributed in Tier 4 data centers around the world — sign transactions without ever recreating a private key, reducing the risk of theft to impossible odds.

Qredochain

The Qredochain is a Layer 2 blockchain that acts as an asset registry, recording the ownership of assets secured by the MPC. This secures the signing process through decentralized consensus, and enables assets to be passed instantly on Qredo Network between underlying blockchains.

Communications layer

Atop the Qredochain and the decentralized MPC will sit a separate communications network. This will enable information such as metadata to be securely attached to transactions for compliance and secure communications.
